Tony is part of the RAF Police. Tony always wanted to be a policeman and to be able to travel, so he joined the RAF where he gets to do both.

Alex is a Flying Officer. Keen sportsperson Alex joined the RAF as an Administrative Officer just last year and is the RAF Benson Station Adjutant.
Chf Tech Dave Fegan-Long
Dave is an RAF fencer and engineer. Since joining the RAF he has achieved more than he thought possible, including completing an 8hr repair in 60mins in Iraq - the aircraft saved a soldier's life.
Cpl Richard Retallick
Richard and Riki, his Military Working Dog, help provide security for RAF Benson.
SAC Rosetta Norbert
Rosetta is an RAF chef. Recently, she was awarded Best in Class, Chef of the Year and Best Female Competitor of the Year.
Flt Lt Peter Smiley
Peter is a pilot and Co-Responder. He's inspired by his missions in Iraq & Afghan, flying Medical Emergency Response Teams and delivering Christmas mail. Peter is pictured during 'Wet Drills'.
Cpl Emma Pook
Emma is an RAF Firefighter that challenges preconceptions. Alongside firefighting & crash rescue, she is the RAF Hockey goalkeeper.
Chanel is a Surface Finisher and enjoys her job as part of a small team that conducts a full Puma aircraft repaint.
SAC Olivia Duckworth
Olivia is a supplier. She is also a keen swimmer and rower that is proud of winning the inter-Service Rowing competition in 2016 and 2017; a first for the RAF.

Alistair Sammon is a Cyberspace Communication Specialist.
Cpl Melissa Benfield
Melissa joined the RAF Police team in 2016. She is also part of the medal winning RAF Women's Bobsleigh Team.
WO Caroline Cooper
Caroline is an RAF Medic. She has helped to save lives across the world and has been most inspired by the determination of injured personnel she has treated.
SAC Rhian Reffell
Rhian, originally from Australia, joined the RAF for a career change from the Hard Rock Cafe. Alongside being a guide leader, she is leading innovation with the new Blue Skies team.
SAC Wesley Cummings
Wesley is a General Technician Workshops. He manufactures and repairs components for aircraft, vehicles and specialist equipment. He's proud of the bespoke items he has designed and created.
Wg Cdr Jez Browning
Jez is an Engineer (Aerosystems). He still gets a thrill from donning his uniform, reminding him of the legacy that all who serve uphold.
SAC Matthew Wood
Matthew is a General Technician Electrical. After 14 months of hard work on his trade training, Matthew has worked with colleagues from Germany, France and the USA to achieve common goals.
SAC Niall Carlyle-Reid
Niall is an RAF firefighter. Still in the early stages of his career, Niall is looking forward to the endless opportunities and experiences that a RAF life can offer.
Gp Capt (Retd) Philip Pinney CVO
Philip is a former Station Commander. Born in New Zealand to a military family, Gp Capt Pinney served in the RAF for 36 years.
Deborah is one of RAF Benson's tailors. Since 2010 she has ensured our personnel's No1 uniforms are fitted and maintained to the highest standard.
Cpl Karl Soare
Karl is an RAF Regiment Gunner who prepares personnel for deployments worldwide. When he's not at work, he dons a different uniform to save lives in another way - as a SCAS Co-Responder.
FS Justin Kmieciak-Thorpe
Justin is a crewman and Tactical Training Instructor. Justin instructs crewmen from all 3 services and uses his experiences in Iraq and Afghanistan; saving lives with the MERT teams.
Rebecca is RAF Benson's Engagement Support Officer. Civil Servant Rebecca is quickly realising she can achieve things she didn't have the courage to try before.
PC Robert Smith
Robert is a Tactical Flight Officer. He joined the police to make a difference and is proud of serving his community.
Steven is RAF Benson's groundskeeper. It's no easy task to maintain a whole airfield but he does an outstanding job.
SAC Sam Rowe
MT driver, Sam, joined the RAF to travel and better himself and it has given him that chance - from the USA to Falklands.
SAC James Maltby
James is an RAF driver. The 22 year old has deployed to Spain, Sweden and most recently the Caribbean. Supporting emergency aid delivery on Op RUMAN was one of his proudest moments.
At the heart of our RAF family is RAF Benevolent Fund regional fundraiser, Heather Kemp. So dedicated to helping our personnel, she even ran the Reading Half Marathon with us.
Cpl Tony Hawke
Tony Hawke is an RAF photographer. A keen surfer, Tony joined the RAF in 1999 to learn a new skill, meet new people and travel to new places.
Cpl Kelly Flynn
Kelly is an ICT Technician. Alongside her day job keeping us all networked and connected, Kelly is proud to be Secretary of the RAF LGBT+ Freedom Network, the largest RAF employee network.
Annabel is a Dental Nurse helping to make sure all our personnel are dentally fit to deploy worldwide since 2015.
Former RAF Warrant Officer Robert Hardwick is a Health & Safety Advisor, he injects a bit of comedy to help reduce accidents and incidents - over 40% in the last 4 years.
Gemma is the manager of The Hairbase. She loves helping our personnel keep up to date with the latest trends while staying within regulations.

George joined the RAF as a Supplier in 2012 and is proud to serve in Her Majesty's Armed Forces.
FS Alan Sharp
Alan is a highly experienced Puma 2 engineer. He is also Captain of the RAF Clay Pigeon Shooting Association; competing in English, British and World Champs.
SAC Daniel Walkingshaw
Daniel is a Mover. He joined the RAF in 2011 where he supports the deployments of all personnel and equipment on exercises and operations around the world.
Sgt Zara McIntosh
Zara is an Exercise Remedial Instructor, she specialises in musculoskeletal rehabilitation ranging from those with severe trauma to sports injuries.
Cpl Justin Wallace
Justin Wallace delivers essential pre-deployment training. The RAF Regiment Gunner has served in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Cpl Holly Roberts
Holly is a Catering and Hospitality Specialist. Having served Her Majesty, Holly recently achieved a Gold medal at the tri-service culinary competition.
Helen joined the Medical Centre team at the end of 2017 and is the Pharmacy Technician who prepares and dispenses medicines for personnel and families.
Michael is RAF Benson's volunteer historian and curator of the Station's Ethos and Heritage Facility. Former RAF and Civil Servant, Michael created the facility from scratch.

Corporal Craig Lenane is an RAF Physical Training Instructor.
SAC Amy Lupton
Amy is an RAF photographer. The highlight of her first tour has been filming an inspirational promo video for the late FS Anna Irwin.
WO David 'Geordie' Rothwell
David is a Warrant Officer. He joined the RAF Regiment in 1985 and has since deployed more than 11 times to locations across the world.
(Retired) Air Commodore Charles Clarke OBE
(Retired) Air Commodore Charles Clarke OBE was in the RAF between 1941-1978 serving 37 years. He spent time as a prisoner of war at Stalag Luft 3, known from the film, The Great Escape, and survived The Long March of January 1945.
SAC Tom North
Tom North is a driver for 2 Mechanical Transport Squadron. Tom assisted the local emergency services during Storm Emma to provide his driving skills to help nurses and medical staff to get to where they needed to be.
Flt Lt Simon Phillips
Simon Phillips is a Junior Engineer Officer (JEngO), from RAF Coningsby. As the JEngO, he leads 45 aircraft technicians to ensure the availability and airworthiness of the aircraft on Exercise Red Flag.
Cpl Kimberly Springhall
Kimberly is an RAF Nurse based at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
Flt Lt Emma Spencer
Emma is an RAF Nurse in the Cardiac Department at the OU Hospital. Emma was part of the Tactical Medical Team conducting worldwide Aeromedical Evacuations.
Cpl Peter Harper
Peter always wanted to be a firefighter and joined the RAF in 2005. He's worked in some of the harshest of environments and is proud of helping to change lives.
Pte Romeo Rokomaiqisa
Romeo is part of the [Military Provost Guard Service] who provide 24/7 security. Originally from Fiji, he joined the British Army in 2003 and has completed tours in Afghanistan as well as public duties at Buckingham Palace.
Pte Oliver Murden
Oliver Murden is a British Army driver with the Royal Logistics Corps, trained to drive and maintain all Army vehicles whatever the conditions or weather. He joined the RAF Benson team in 2016.
Jacqueline worked as a carer for many years, and for the past 17 years has been one of the essential team members working tirelessly behind the scenes.
SAC Jacob O'Keeffe
Jacob qualified as an RAF supplier last year and works in the Technical Stores. He represents the RAF in football and cross country and has also completed an overseas expedition to the Grand Canyon.
Revd (Sqn Ldr) Philip Corrigan
Philip is Chaplain at RAF Benson and provides support to all, regardless of faith.
