Exercise Global Eagle is a two-week military training event that brings together forces from NATO countries, focusing on defending airbases.

It is designed to improve how partner nations work together in conflict situations. This year, the exercise is being held at Moody Air Force Base in the USA.

Squadron personnel from the RAF’s Combat Readiness Force (15 Squadron RAF Regiment) have joined the United States Air Force 820th Base Defence Squadron and Norwegian Air Force Protection Battalion to share knowledge and practice techniques that improve the overall defence capabilities of each unit.

During the Exercise, personnel will participate in live-fire scenarios, simulated training events, and operations that include integrated air support and parachute airborne operations. All of this is done to make sure the different NATO Forces can seamlessly work together and respond to threats from peer adversaries.
