Mount Pleasant Complex was full of festive spirit as 109 enthusiastic runners took part in the annual Christmas Fun Run along the familiar 5K Park Run route. The event saw participants from across the station, including spouses, children, and visiting family members, all coming together to celebrate the season in style.
The run was a colourful spectacle, with plenty of Santas dashing through the course, joined by cheerful penguins and even a festive fox! The atmosphere was lively and inclusive, showcasing the strong sense of community at MPC.
Thanks to the generosity of those involved, the event raised £167 for the Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA), supporting their vital work for RAF personnel and their families.
The Fun Run was successfully coordinated by Mount Pleasant Park Run, Cpl Latham, and AS1 Houllier, with invaluable support from FS Broughton, all from the Personnel Support Flight (PSF). Their efforts ensured a safe, enjoyable, and memorable event for everyone.
A huge thank you to all who participated and contributed—your festive spirit and charitable support made this event a resounding success!
