Today, is a day for people around the world to recognize the contributions and accomplishments of women and as we look back on the history of International Women’s Day, it is also a great opportunity to explore women's contributions throughout history.

Here at RAF Brize Norton we have been privileged to not only celebrate this special day but also to learn about the history of the Women’s Institute (WI) and in particular the Carterton Branch of the WI with some amazing ladies.

The 2024 theme for International Women’s Day is Inspire Inclusion and the Carterton ladies certainly have this in abundance.
