Childcare
RAFA Kidz is located on RAF Cranwell and provides childcare aged three months to 14 years.
Opening times: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:30pm, 50 weeks a year.

FAMILY CONTACT AND TEMPORARY ACCOMMODATION
Contact Houses provide accommodation on a Station or within an estate primarily for compassionate and contact reasons. They are available to personnel and their families who need temporary accommodation for short periods of time either for themselves or family members.

Medical centre
The Regional Medical Centre is provided for service personnel however dependants living in SFA are also welcome to register.

DENTAL CENTRE
The dental centre is for RAF personnel only. RAF dependants should register with a local dental practice.
SSAFA PS&SWS RAF
SSAFA Personal Support & Social Work Service RAF (PS&SWS RAF) is contracted by the RAF to provide welfare support to all serving personnel (regular and reserves) and their families. Our team of specialist Personal & Family Support Workers and Social Workers are located on stations in the RAF community throughout the UK.
Our service is confidential and independent from the Chain of Command. It is the aim of our service to support you to enhance personal welfare, maintain family stability and empower you to access the support networks you are entitled to.
Our service can support you with a range of issues including addiction & dependency, child support, financial, housing, mental health, personal support, physical health and relationships.
Anyone, regular, reserve or dependent, can refer themselves to SSAFA. You can contact our service by any of the ways below;

Sports
STATION GYMNASIUM (EAST CAMP)
They gym has a comprehensive fitness suite, free weights area, squash courts and runs a variety of fitness classes.
Dependants of RAF personnel, MoD employees and contractors employed at RAF College Cranwell can also join but will be required to pay an annual gym membership.

EQUESTRIAN CENTRE (SADDLE CLUB)
The Saddle Club is open to serving military personnel, retired military, dependants, civil servants, contractors and a limited number of civilians in the local community.
Facilities include: an outdoor floodlit arena, cross-country course and lots of safe hacking routes.

The Brunei Community Centre
The Brunei Community Centre (BCC) contains the HIVE, a Coffee Shop and Craft and Workshop.
The coffee shop serves a selection of hot and cold food and drinks.

The Lawrence Club
The station all ranks club offers a wide range of hot and cold food and drinks.
They have a four-lane ten pin bowling alley, cinema and switchback room which can be hired for children’s parties. There is also a function room available to hire.
There are music, Sky and BT Sports TV and a pool table.
