RAFOTA Sword of Honour Presentation

Flying Officer Tyne was recently awarded the prestigious Sword of Honour by the Air and Space Commander, Air Marshal Marshall OBE RAF, at the graduation ceremony for Modular Initial Officer Training Course 38.

This esteemed accolade is presented to the Officer Cadet who demonstrates exceptional ability, leadership and officer qualities, as well as outstanding potential for future development.

Presentation of the sword

First awarded in 1921, the Sword of Honour is a long-standing tradition at the RAF College. It is presented to the most distinguished Officer Cadet of each intake, symbolising the highest standards of excellence and leadership expected of RAF officers. Congratulations to Fg Off Tyne on this well-deserved recognition of her dedication to the course and fellow graduates.
