RAF Cranwell Station Commander, Wing Commander Thornton, has recently appointed Sgt Gaywood from 2160 (Sleaford) Sqn as the Station Commander’s Cadet for 2025.
The appointment will see Sgt Gaywood accompany the Station Commander to events throughout the year, providing a unique insight into Royal Air Force life. Sgt Gaywood completed an application process for the position and was selected for her exceptional leadership, mentorship, and contribution to the wider Royal Air Force Cadets and local community.
