Annual Reception At RAF Halton

RAF Halton’s Station Commander, Group Captain Katherine Wilson, hosted the Station’s Annual Reception recently at Halton House Officers Mess. The evening on 1st May was attended by the Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire, Sir Henry Aubrey-Fletcher who was among other community leaders from the county. Guests from all walks of life, including local and national charities, sports and youth leaders, and business people mixed with Station personnel prior to watching a Sunset Ceremony on the patio of Halton House. The event was an opportunity for RAF Halton to thank the locals for their support over the past year and to continue to foster relationships particularly as RAF Halton enters its 100th year in 2019.

In 2018, we carried out numerous local projects and I know that our Service men and women awaiting trade training are particularly active and I am grateful for all their efforts as well.”
