RAF Police Reserves Celebrate Success

Five RAF Police Reservists have graduated following the successful completion of a demanding 15-day training programme at RAF Honington.

The graduation parade took place on 23 October 2026 at the Old Tosh's Tavern, RAF Honington, marking the culmination of an intensive course designed to prepare RAF Police Reservists for the challenges of Service policing. The exercise included a comprehensive legislation examination, an environmental phase incorporating both summative and formative assessments, and a Public and Personal Safety training phase.

The parade celebrated the accomplishments of five newly qualified RAF Police Reservists: Corporals Player and Page from 3614 Squadron, Corporals Gillespie and Mullan from 3605 Squadron and Corporal Granickas from 502 Squadron.

The Reviewing Officer, Dame Sara Thornton DBE QPM, Honorary Air Commodore of 3614 Squadron, presented the graduates with their Service Police Warrant Cards. In recognition of outstanding performance throughout the course, Corporal Mullan was named Top Student.

“Today’s graduates have demonstrated exceptional dedication, professionalism and resilience throughout a demanding programme. The high standards they have displayed, coupled with their commitment to successfully completing every phase of the exercise, reflect great credit on themselves, their squadrons and the RAF Police Reserves.”
