We were delighted to put our best polished foot forward and welcome Air Vice-Marshal Jason Appleton, Air Officer Commanding 2 Group, to conduct our Annual Formal Inspection.
The AFI is a hugely important date in the calendar, and this year included displays and updates from 90 Signals Unit and 2 Counter Uncrewed Aerial Systems Wing (C-UAS) on their continuing contributions to defence of the United Kingdom.
Hosted by the Station Commander, Group Captain John 'Geordie' Lawson, AVM Appleton also presented Honours and Awards, and discussed the Whole Force experience during a Town Hall briefing.
