Childcare
The RAF Lossiemouth Childcare Centre is on Muirton Road, Lossiemouth (near the station main entrance).
The Centre takes children from birth to 16 years old.

Family contact and temporary accommodation
Clifton Heights and Herman House are six flats and a house in Lossiemouth for use by RAF Lossiemouth service personnel of all ranks.
MOD civilian staff are entitled to use these facilities subject to availability.
Whilst the primary purpose is to provide welfare support, service personnel may use the apartments for visiting family and friends.

Health and welfare
Medical centre
The Medical Centre on the Station is for RAF personnel only. Dependants of personnel should register with a local GP (details available from the HIVE).
Dental centre
The Dental Centre on the Station is for RAF personnel only. Dependants of personnel should register with a local dental practice (details available from the HIVE).
SSAFA RAF Lossiemouth
SSAFA Personal Support & Social Work Service RAF (PS&SWS RAF) is contracted by the MOD to provide welfare support to all serving personnel (regular and reserves) and their families. Our team of specialist Personal & Family Support Workers and Social Workers are located on stations in the RAF community throughout the UK.
Our service is confidential and independent from the Chain of Command. It is the aim of our service to support you to enhance personal welfare, maintain family stability and empower you to access the support networks you are entitled to.
Our service can support you with a range of issues including addiction & dependency, child support, financial, housing, mental health, personal support, physical health and relationships.
Anyone can refer themselves to SSAFA. You can contact our service by any of the ways below.

Chaplains
The Chaplaincy is base at the St Aidan’s Church and Community Centre on station.
Giving both spiritual guidance and support RAF Padres hold events, training and group meetings in St Aidan’s.

Sports
Station gym
The gym has a fitness suite, squash court, spinning room, indoor pitch, climbing wall and large sports hall.
You can join the gym if you are a dependant of a member of RAF personnel but will need a dependant's pass to use the facilities unaccompanied, plus an access fob to use the gym out of hours. Contact the gym for an access fob.
Gym membership costs vary for MoD civilians, dependants and other entitled personnel.

Sports pitches and courts
The station has football and rugby pitches, a tennis court, squash court, and an astro-turf pitch.

Children and young people
Airplay
Airplay Lossie is a programme funded by the RAF Benevolent Fund to provide a range of activities for children and young people.
Airplay clubs and activities are held in ‘The Circle’, Myreside Circle, Bishopmill, Elgin.

Ben’s Den
Ben’s Den is an indoor soft play area in the St Aidan’s Centre at RAF Lossiemouth designed for children up to the age of ten.
Opening times: Monday to Saturday, 8am to 8pm, Sunday, midday to 8pm (unless when otherwise advertised or privately hired).
Ben’s Den is available for private hire by contacting the Chaplains’ Clerk.

Premier Shop and Post Office
The Premier shop and Post Office on Station are open to spouses, partners, and RAF personnel who have a suitable pass to access the Station.

Costa Coffee Shop
The Costa Coffee shop on Station is open to anyone who has a suitable pass to access the Station.
