Opening times: Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 5pm, and Friday, 8:30am to 4pm.
Drone Flying
Drone flying is prohibited within the airspace over RAF Spadeadam. For any drone flying requests, please contact Air Traffic Control on Air Traffic Control or call 016977 49488.
The Civil Aviation Authority’s drone code is at CAA Drone Code.
Night flying
Night flying takes place periodically throughout the year, usually for periods of up to one week at a time, however this may be extended if required.

Viewing area
RAF Spadeadam does not have a viewing area on the Station. Please be advised that whilst all the roads surrounding the base are public roads, the land either side is Ministry of Defence land. If you choose to park, you may be asked to move, to allow Service vehicles access. We thank you for your co-operation.
