Over 300 people attended RAF Waddington's first Industry Day, celebrating the Ministry of Defence’s partnerships with significant contractors specialising in ISTAR (Intelligence, Surveillance, Tactical-acquisition, and Reconnaissance) technologies.
Where there is a security challenge the ISTAR force enable enhanced understanding of both the environment and risk. Today is of great benefit because we can discuss the challenges within the ISTAR force in an ever-changing landscape and together can build a stronger output.
Air Commodore Strasdin
ISTAR Force Commander
10 Defence contractors were exhibiting at the event, demonstrating new projects they are developing in conjunction with Air’s ISTAR (Intelligence, Surveillance, Tactical-acquisition, and Reconnaissance) current technology.
We’ve been really busy today and it’s been a great way to understand how we can help the ISTAR community with our technology.
