The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall opened a new museum at Bentley Priory, honouring the Battle of Britain and, in particular, the role of RAF Fighter Command. Also attending were a number of former WAAFs (members of the Women's Auxiliary Air Force) who had worked at Fighter Command HQ. As the Prince concluded his speech, a Spitfire and Hurricane of the RAF's Battle of Britain Memorial Flight performed a stunning display in honour not only of the opening, but also of the men and women of Fighter Command.
