The Chinook Mk 6 was officially unveiled at RAF Odiham. The combination of a nose-mounted FLIR (Forward Looking Infrared) turret and rear crew station delivers exceptional crew awareness. The aircraft’s avionics makes Mk 6 an extremely capable platform, especially the ability to hold a position very accurately whether the pilot is six or sixty feet above the ground, thanks to the unique Digital Automatic Flight Control System (DAFCS).
