The RAF’s 38 Expeditionary Air Wing (38 EAW) was activated and started moving aircraft, freight and passengers from a logistics hub in Barbados from Friday September 8. By Saturday September 9, the EAW had enabled 11 flights around the region, moving more than 500 passengers and more than 30 tonnes of freight.
