The prize recognised the fine work done by Flight Lieutenant Wade, Sergeant Sharples and Corporal Harris for media activity on the 100th anniversary of the Royal Auxiliary Air Force. The award acknowledged the hard work that went into organising and staging the exhibition at the Welsh Parliament, widespread media coverage and the publication of Flight Lieutenant Wades' ‘On Dragons’ Wings’ - the first published history of No. 614 Squadron.

It was wonderful to win one trophy but to get two within the space of a week is phenomenal. I’m extremely proud of the fantastic work done by our Media Flight and recognition of their efforts in this award is richly deserved.
