When you arrive

You must report to the Main Gate Control of Entry Building.

You must bring photographic ID with you, e.g. a driving licence or passport.

If you were invited to RAF Brize Norton, the member of staff that invited you should meet you at the Main Gate, unless other arrangements have been made.

Work experience

Youth Familiarisation Visits

Currently, all Youth Visits on Station are cancelled until further notice, we will be publishing dates once guidance is given to when the Station will be open to the wider public.

The Youth Familiarisation visits at RAF Brize Norton aim to give young persons an opportunity to experience the wide-ranging careers that are available within the Royal Air Force.

These may include: Flying Squadrons, Engineering, Air Traffic Control, Fire Service, Catering, Regiment, Armoury and Logistics.

Whilst there is a set timetable, due to operational commitments we reserve the right to change or cancel the programme at short notice. Each course has 12 places available.

The program will run over 1-day, but 2-day visits will be available in line with easing of restrictions in line with Government policy.

The Youth Familiarisation dates, for 2021/2 are to be confirmed.

Work Experience

Work Experience is offered to persons who have sourced a sponsor within the Station.
