Brize Norton women to represent RAF at Dhekelia 7s Tournament

Members of Royal Air Force Brize Norton's Women's Football Team are preparing to represent the Station at the upcoming Dhekelia 7s Tournament in Cyprus, where they will compete against teams from across the UK Armed Forces.

The annual competition, hosted by British Forces Cyprus at RAF Dhekelia, brings together service personnel for a weekend of competitive football, teamwork and camaraderie. The tournament provides an opportunity for players to test themselves against strong opposition while showcasing the talent and commitment of women's sport across Defence.

Royal Air Force Brize Norton's squad will travel to Cyprus with a blend of experience and enthusiasm, looking to build on the team's continued development and represent the Station with pride on the international stage.

Participation in events such as the Dhekelia 7s highlights the important role sport plays in supporting physical fitness, resilience and team cohesion. For many players, the tournament offers a valuable opportunity to challenge themselves, develop new skills and strengthen relationships across the wider Armed Forces community.
