Flight Lieutenant Toomer has been awarded the RAF Officer Training Academy’s (RAFOTA) Sword of Merit.
This prestigious award is presented to the RAFOTA officer who has demonstrated the highest levels of commitment, professionalism, and tenacity in the delivery of officer training.
Over the past year, Flt Lt Toomer has inspired future leaders of the RAF through flair, innovation, and energy, upholding the core values of the Service, showing compassion, care, and exemplary standards both as an officer and a trainer. Recognised as a role model and mentor, Flt Lt Toomer has not only made a significant impact on Initial Officer Training but has also influenced the entire Officer Cadet body, epitomising what it means to serve, develop others, and lead by example.
