RAF Cranwell has recently welcomed Yr 10 students from local schools and colleges to a 3-day Work Experience Look at Life programme getting an insight into the careers, training, sport and lifestyle offered by today’s RAF.
The students visited sections such as Military Flying Training System, Air Traffic, RAF Police, Fire and Ops to learn what really happens day to day at work whilst also seeing the domestic side of things eating their lunch each day in the Mess and having a tour of our Single Living Accommodation.
All these students could then apply to the RAF within the next 6 months, and this has given them an invaluable insight!
