It was another incredible day on the ground and in the air as we thanked the Whole Force and their families for their hard work and support at the RAF Leeming Families Day.
The Station welcomed thousands of visitors for the fun-filled day which featured displays from aircraft ranging from the steady pace of Chipmunks to the roar of Hawker Hunter and F35.
It was just as busy on the ground, with plenty to eat, watch and take part in. Daring cheerleading displays and all the fun of the fair were accompanied by insights into how to take part in some of the Station’s year-round activities, including the polytunnels and sports clubs.
After a very brief breather, it was back in the hangar to dance the night away to live music and celebrate being part of Team Leeming.
