RAF St Mawgan recently welcomed twelve enthusiastic Year 10 pupils from across Cornwall for an immersive week designed to introduce them to life in the Royal Air Force. The programme aimed to offer a broad understanding of RAF operations and highlight the diverse career opportunities available both across the Service and at RAF St Mawgan itself.

Throughout the week, participants engaged in team-building exercises, development activities, leadership challenges and survival training. These hands-on experiences were crafted to foster confidence, camaraderie and practical skills.
Sergeant Dave Mutton, the lead organiser, shared: The week was an excellent opportunity for the teenagers to try something new, make new friends and learn new skills. Hopefully we will have inspired them to consider a role in the RAF in the future.
The initiative not only showcased the dynamic environment of RAF St Mawgan but also reinforced the station's commitment to youth development and community outreach.
