Low flying

All RAF flying at RAF Wyton ceased on the 25 March 2013.

RAF Wyton has continued to operate a small private flying club (Pathfinder Flying Club), from a small grass strip runway within the RAF Wyton land boundary. 

Any low flying in the area will be from either the MAGPAS Air Ambulance helicopter or the small two seater aircraft in the area during take-off and landing.

Drone Flying

Operators flying drones near any military airfield must ensure they are aware of the UK policy for their safe operation. The Drone Code forms part of the Civil Aviation Authority's advice and guidance to drone operators which can be found on their website.

Night flying

The only night flying in the area will be conducted by the MAGPAS Air Ambulance Helicopter from non MOD land.

Any flying activity conducted by the MAGPAS Air Ambulance Helicopter is not the responsibility of RAF Wyton.
