The ability to forensically examine electronic devices, including personal electronic devices such as phones and tablets, is integral to the investigative work of the RAF Police.

Project POLYSIB aims to exploit the capabilities of commercial Artificial Intelligence to enable the swift and effective forensic analysis of these devices.
The project, taking place at RAF Honington initially, will see the use of an approved commercial Artificial Intelligence solution that will conduct the forensic examination. The data is examined securely and can search images, videos and text stored and accessed on devices in support of a variety of RAF Police investigations.
The trial is expected to begin shortly.
