The Medical Force delivers a global aeromedical evacuation service for Defence, undertakes medical planning for Air activity and prepares regular and reserve RAF Medical Services personnel and capabilities to deploy on operations and exercises around the world.
Group Captain Rowley joined the regular Royal Air Force in 1994, having previously served in the RAF Reserves. He has completed several command tours including at HQ Tactical Medical Wing and at a prestigious Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre, providing healthcare to those with the most serious of medical disorders and complex injuries. With a predominately medical operational planning career background, he has accrued experience in other healthcare domains such as logistics, capability development, training, personnel and healthcare governance.
