United Kingdom Armed Forces Boxing Association Development Championships Finals Night showcases Armed Forces talent at RAF Brize Norton
The UK Armed Forces Boxing Association Development Championships Finals Night took place at RAF Brize Norton, bringing together some of the most promising boxing talent from across the Armed Forces.

The event provided a platform for Service personnel from the Royal Navy, British Army and Royal Air Force to compete in front of supporters, coaches and fellow athletes, demonstrating the skill, determination and resilience that underpin both military service and amateur boxing.

With championship titles on the line, competitors showcased the high standard of boxing being developed across Defence, with closely contested bouts highlighting the commitment and dedication required to reach finals level competition.

The UKAFBA Development Championships play a vital role in identifying and nurturing emerging talent, providing opportunities for Service personnel to gain competitive experience, build confidence and progress through the military boxing pathway.

Chairman of the RAF Boxing Association, Air Commodore Paul Hamilton said:

Military sport continues to contribute to operational effectiveness by developing leadership, resilience, physical fitness and teamwork, while strengthening relationships across Defence.
The successful staging of the finals night at RAF Brize Norton further demonstrated the Station's commitment to supporting military sport and providing opportunities for Service personnel to excel both professionally and athletically.
