Earlier this month, on 16th September, RAF Cranwell was host for the second time this year to the 6 FTS Acting Pilot Officer Workshop.
30 students from across the 15 UAS took part in the workshop where they were introduced to a varying range of leadership activities, from scenario based decision making to practical group challenges – designed to teach and develop them for their role as APO on their Sqn.
The workshop culminated with all participants being formally awarded their Acting Pilot Officer rank by Comdt 6 FTS, Gp Capt Barker, marking their next step on their leadership journey.
