RAF Police Host Senior US Air Force Visit at RAF Honington

Group Captain Samantha Bunn, Provost Marshal (RAF), welcomed Brigadier General Amy Bumgarner, Commander of the United States Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI), to RAF Police Headquarters on Monday 29 June 2026, during an official visit focused on reinforcing the long-standing partnership between the RAF Police (RAFP) and AFOSI.

The RAFP and AFOSI maintain a close and enduring relationship, founded on shared values and a commitment to mutual security. During the visit, this partnership was further strengthened through the signing of a roadmap agreement, formalising continued cooperation in intelligence sharing, training, and operational collaboration.

The agreement reflects a joint commitment to enhance interoperability and ensure both forces remain equipped to address evolving global threats.

The visit also marked a significant milestone for Brigadier General Bumgarner, who is due to retire in the Summer.
